Students are going to be returning to Ukraine from their respective countries and amidst the COVID pandemic and the changes that come along with it, it is necessary to have the right information and the right documents for travelling back to Ukraine.
We’ve got you covered. We’ve pinned the things you need. (You get it? :), Need it Pin it?). Without wasting much time, let’s go straight to the point.
These are the things that you will need for your trip back to Ukraine.
1. One of the following documents.
- A negative PCR test result done no more than 72 hours before the entry.
- A document confirming the reception of one or more doses of the WHO-approved vaccine COVID vaccine
- A negative rapid test for the SARS-CoV-2 antigen (RAT,Ag) that was done no more than 72 hours before entry.
If you’ve gotten that down, the next thing is:
2. COVID/Medical Insurance.
- Technically, as a student, you should be able to use your medical insurance if you have it in hand, but if not, you can get one online. We usually suggest this as it’s not very expensive.
- Click here to get your medical insurance.
- If you need a step by step guide on how to get your insurance, check it out here.
3. A tracking app called "VDOMA"
- The last and final thing you will need is to download a tracking app called VDOMA.
The app tracks your self isolation ‘commitment’ after arriving Ukraine. You can download this when you reach Ukraine but make sure to get it ready before getting to the immigration point at the airport.
You can download it here. – for Android. For apple – search for VDOMA.
